Major FMCG companies and manufacturers have indicated that they expect a decrease in their input costs in the next two quarters. Agricultural output is also looking healthy. Prices for raw materials like cotton and cooking oils easing off recently. This has taken off some of the pressure from pricing and margins. Companies plan to pass on benefits by reducing prices or running consumer offers.
